Start a Custom Lake Design is for customers interested in having a product created for a lake that is not currently available.

Our designs focus on the recognizable shape of the lake itself, creating a clean piece that represents a place with personal meaning. Depending on the design and product, additional geographic details may also be included.

Yes. Lake map posters are available for customers who would like to choose their own frame or display style. Framed versions are also available for selected designs.

Personalization options may be available for selected products and custom designs.

Depending on the design, options may include a family name, established year, coordinates, cottage location marker, or other personalized details.

For eligible custom or personalized designs, a cottage or property location may be incorporated into the map. The information you provide is used to prepare your design and order.

Yes. That’s exactly what the Custom Lake Design option is for. If your lake isn’t currently part of our poster collection, send us the lake name and location and we’ll determine whether we can create it.

Many Lakefront Designs products are made to order. Production begins after an order has been placed.

Lakefront Designs creates the artwork and lake designs. Depending on the product, printing, framing, apparel production, fulfilment, or shipping may be completed by one of our production partners.

Not necessarily. If items in the same order are produced at different facilities or require different production methods, they may arrive in separate shipments.

Production and delivery times vary depending on the product, destination, and time of year. Estimated delivery information is provided during the ordering process where available. Custom designs may require additional time before production begins.

If your order arrives damaged, contains a production error, or something isn’t right, contact us with your order information and photographs where appropriate so we can review the issue. For full details, please refer to our applicable store and return policies.

The Ontario Lake Guide is intended to help visitors discover lakes and learn more about the places behind our designs. Profiles may include geographic information, activities, boating and fishing information, shoreline characteristics, nearby communities, and sources for further reading.

We research lake profiles using reputable sources such as government agencies, municipalities, conservation authorities, lake associations, and other established references. Sources used for an individual lake are listed in the Sources & References section of its profile.

Absolutely.

Lake information can change, and local knowledge can be valuable. If you notice information that appears inaccurate or outdated, please contact us and include the lake name, the information in question, and a source if you have one.
